Early rumors said dead; follow-up rumors said dead; late-breaking rumors said dead; Al Qaeda sources said alive; and now late late-breaking rumors say … still dead. From the NEFA report:
Twelve militants were killed in a single missile attack on a residential compound in Khushali Wazir in the Mirali tehsil during the night of January 28. A loud explosion rocked the area at 11:22 p.m. According to well-informed NEFA sources in Pakistan, among those reportedly killed in the attack were senior al-Qa’ida commander Abu Laith al-Libi, his former deputy Abu Suhail, Hamza al-Somali (of Australian or US nationality), and Azzam al-Amriki (an a.k.a. of American al-Qa’ida member Adam Gadahn) [Gadahn’s death has yet to be officially confirmed]. Abu Ubayda Tawari Rakhis al-Mutairi and “Abu Adil”, both from Kuwait, were also reported killed in the attack—along with at least three Uzbek nationals. On January 30, the bodies of the 12 foreigners were retrieved and buried in a local graveyard. A large number of local militants had surrounded the site and cordoned it off.
I managed to miss this one with all the commotion in Israel. Sorry. Adam Gadhan is apparently been killed until he was dead by a missile sent from the forces of good. I am truly thankful beyond adequate description. There has never been a more annoying traitor to our country than this former piece of inhuman garbage. A member of the liberal-left from California, Adam Gadhan felt betraying his country with only his ideology wasn't enough; so he left the United States and officially joined al-Qaeda in hopes of punishing us all for his childhood and status as all-around big fat loser.
It really does take a special kind of twisted soul to actively pursue the title of "traitor" and revel in it. Make no mistake, this defeated fool was worse than most al-Qaeda for the simple fact he was born here in the United States with all the liberties that come with it, born into the greatest country ever blessed by God Himself, and he chose of his own free will to leave it all behind in order to destroy you and your family. I'm glad he's dead. No more awkward speeches, no more seeing the face of half a man pretending to be something he could never quite live up to. In many ways Adam Gadhan was like the comic relief of our war against Islamo-fascism.
I wonder how al-Qaeda feels right now knowing that we'll spend serious resources just to kill one traitor to our country. May Adam Gadhan's soul be tortured for eternity.
